BW25113 SalE1B resistant

This study presents whole genome sequencing data of Escherichia coli BW25113 strains that have developed resistance to the salE1B bacteriocin. The parent strain, E. coli BW25113, a derivative of K-12, was exposed to salE1B to select for resistant mutants. The genomes of these resistant variants were sequenced using Nanopore technology to identify genetic alterations associated with salE1B resistance. This dataset aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying bacterial resistance to the salE1B bacteriocin.
