Intramuscular fat remarkably affects the tenderness, juiciness, and flavor of pork, and it is an important indicator of pork quality. Previous research from our research group has shown that injecting piglets with nano-vitamin A significantly increases intramuscular fat content and improves pork quality. Noncoding RNAs have a crucial role in regulating the intramuscular fat deposition process. Therefore, this study investigates the mechanism by which nano-vitamin A regulates intramuscular fat deposition in pigs from the perspective of noncoding RNAs.
