Mock microbial samples spiked with synthetic DNA ladder

To demonstrate the use of the synthetic DNA ladder spike-ins in metagenome sequencing, we added the ladder into three mock microbial samples (A, B and C) containing bacterial gDNA at known fold differences and performed whole genome sequencing. We show how the ladder can be used as a reference to accurately normalise and detect known fold-differences between the samples.
