Fecal microbial transplantation alleviated sleep deprivation-induced dye eye symptoms by modulating gut microbiota

Gut microbiota modulates the inflammatory response and cognitive impairment induced by sleep deprivation; however, the role of gut microbiome in the progression of SD-induced dry eye remains elusive. Fecal microbial transplantation was performed to demonstrate the crucial role of gut microbiota in SD-induced dry eye, thus providing potentially effective therapies.
