Data were collected in
six headwater reaches of the lowland catchment of the Hampshire River Avon (UK),
specifically on Chalk River Ebble and River Wylye, Greensand River Nadder and
West Avon, and clay River Sem and Sem Tributary River Priors between May 19th
and June 5th 2015. The setup consists of a floating LiCor Long-Term
Chamber (Model 8100-101; total volume 6.29 L) connected
to a Cambell Scientific Datalogger (CR800-Series) for chamber control
and data logging. Fluxes were computed as the initial linear increase in both
CO2 and CH4 at 10 min intervals. An r2 value of 0.9 was used as quality
cut-off (i.e., quality check) to flag weak regressions.
