Yangtze River Delta Ecosystem Dataset: YRD_EM, Training Samples, and Testing Samples

By utilizing the hierarchical-modular mapping framework, combined with high-resolution optical remote sensing data (such as HLS), radar data (such as Sentinel-1), and relevant covariates such as terrain, the 2020 Yangtze River Delta ecosystem map (YRD_EM) was generated. This map includes 15 detailed ecosystem types, covering a wide range of ecological units from forests and wetlands to agricultural and urbanized areas.The training sample dataset includes 26,973 samples, covering 10 ecosystem types. These samples were generated through the integration of multi-source land cover data and visual interpretation. The testing sample dataset contains 3,366 samples, covering 15 ecosystem types, and these samples were primarily generated through visual interpretation.
