Hearing assessment feedback interpretation

This is qualitative data which gives an indication of the demographic information (age, gender, marital status, education) of the clients and audiologists and their ratings. It is quotes and opinions by audiologists and clients describing their perceptions of the audiogram and Ida My Hearing Explained Tool (IMHET) when receiving audiometric feedback. They rated their satisfaction and understanding of IMHET and audiogram feedback on a five-point Likert scale. Main themes identified were audiogram and the IMHET. Sub-themes identified were: understanding, recommendations and satifaction.Categories identified were: tool, retention and recall, language, rating scales, tool design and use, energy battery scale, audiogram (supplement), tinnitus, my next steps, supportive counselling environment and experience. <br>
