To develop bacteriophage therapy against canine otitis externa caused by multiple-drug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, we isolated phage PP21 from sewage influent water. PP21 was characterized genomically, and therapeutic effect was shown using otitis externa mouse model caused by P. aeruginosa.
