Finite capacity scheduling and productivity improvement for automobile paint repair shop

Automobile repair shop is one of the servicing businesses that really need an appropriate work orders and labor allocated. The automobile paint repair shop has 4 departments include, Assemble-Disassemble, Hammering-Bending, Painting and Wash-Polishing. The problems of the repair shop are about bottleneck at paint station and high worker idle time. The research objective is to reduce worker idle time, reduce bottleneck at paint station and reduce the tardy jobs in order to finish the work on time by using finite capacity scheduling system and visual management. Punctually is the main key of servicing. The company can gain or lose their customer by the quality of work and punctually.
