Our study represents the first detailed analysis of aneurysmal tissues with or without our targeted nanotherapy, generated by RNA-seq technology. The optimized data analysis workflows reported here should provide a framework for comparative investigations of expression profiles. Aortic mRNA profiles of rats with or without treatment of targeted nanotherapy were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using SOAPnuke.
