SVAD

Here, we present the Sudden cardiac death (SCD) Variants Annotation Database (SVAD) to facilitate the interpretation of variants and to fulfill the needs of data integration. As a database, SVAD has accumulated ~2,300 variants by manually surveying pertinent literature. These data may lead to new insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying sudden cardiac death in different subtypes, or in different populations. To the best of our knowledge, the SVAD is the first resource to comprehensively provide integrated information of SCD-associated variants in various types of SCDs by manually surveying pertinent literature.
