TABLE 1. Morphological comparison of the three Drosera species producing conspicuous clusters of translucent- or yellowheaded “emergences” at the base of petioles and bracts. These “emergences” are not homologous in the three species, they represent trichomes in D. maanyaa-gooljoo but modified tentacles in D. barrettiorum and D. hartmeyerorum. Data for Drosera barrettiorum and D. hartmeyerorum from Lowrie (2014) and Schlauer (2001), complemented by observations from the field and of herbarium specimens in PERTH.
