To investigate the molecular mechanisms of neuroendocrine (NE) transformation, adenocarcinomas (LUAD) to small cell lung cancer (SCLC), in lung cancer. Overall design: We performed EPIC (methyl-capture) in transformed lung adenocarcinoma and small cell lung cancer clinical specimens, together with control, never-transformed lung adenocarcinomas and small cell lung cancer.
