Supplementary Table 8. TPM of nucleomorph genes in T. amphioxeia and T. acuta

This table contains Transcripts Per Million (TPM) values for all nucleomorph genes across different light conditions (night, morning, day) in both T. amphioxeia and T. acuta. It highlights the disproportionately high expression of plastid-associated genes (e.g., cbbX, cpn60, clpP1/2, rps15) that dominate the nucleomorph transcriptome. These quantitative expression data support the conclusion that the nucleomorph functions primarily as a specialized compartment dedicated to plastid maintenance.
