This dataset is a national high-resolution surface solar radiation dataset covering 12 years (January 2011 December 2022), with a resolution of 1 hour, 1.25 kilometers, data units of W/m2, and hourly instantaneous values. This dataset is based on a regional adaptive semi empirical model and generated using Fengyun-2 reflectance data and MERRA-2 reanalysis data as inputs. Validation and comparison with other global satellite radiation products indicate that this dataset has higher accuracy than Himawari-8 satellite radiation products and higher spatial resolution than most existing satellite radiation products. This radiation dataset can provide favorable data support for research on radiation balance, solar energy resource assessment, weather, climate and hydrological processes, glacier mass balance, carbon cycle and other aspects in China.
