anxiety caused by the corona virus

The statistical population of this study consists of adult EFL students in language institutes and the language center of the University of Kazerun which amounted to 525 male and female students based on the response rate. However, six of these students were excluded from the data analysis process since they reported that someone close to them were infected with the covid 19 virus at the time of collecting the research data. In addition, two were excluded from the analysis process because they were identified as outliers during data screening process. Therefore we had 517 participants with an average age of 22.45. In addition, 163 (31.5%) of the participants were male students while 354 (68.5%) were female students. With regard to their educational background, 383 (74.1%) were undergraduates, 110 (21.3%) had a master's degree, and 24 (4.6%) had a doctorate. Variables of distress tolerance, health hardiness, and a health-promoting lifestyle are considered as predictors and corona anxiety as the criterion variable.
