Peruvian Sign Language (PSL) Vowel Dataset for Real-Time Recognition Using YOLOv11, MediaPipe, and ESP32-CAM

This dataset contains 1,000 labeled images corresponding to the five vowels (A, E, I, O, and U) of Peruvian Sign Language (PSL). The images were collected under controlled lighting conditions using an ESP32-CAM and additional image capture devices. The dataset was developed to train and evaluate a YOLOv11-based recognition system combined with MediaPipe hand landmark validation for real-time embedded artificial intelligence applications.
