Malignant meningiomas (MM) are highly aggressive tumors and difficult to treat. Immunotherapy is focused on as a promising treatment for cancers including meningioma. In the present study, we assessed the antitumor effects of our genuine-induced NK cells (GiNKs) in MM. We demonstrated that local immunotherapy using expanded and activated NK cells, i.e., GiNKs, directly administered into the brain may hold a great potential as a promising immunotherapeutic alternative in patients with MM.
