Polytopia

The main goal of the project is to build models of all polyhedra in a collective endeavor (citizen art) and, to date, all polyhedra with up to nine vertices have been made available for adoption. Users can adopt an individual polyhedron, give it a name and then help it take shape by building a model; this “Adopt a Polyhedron” project allows users to actively participate in mathematics with the building of geometric models as the focus.本项目的核心目标是通过集体创作（公民艺术，citizen art）构建所有多面体（polyhedron）的实体模型。截至目前，所有顶点数不超过9的多面体均已开放认领。用户可认领单款多面体，为其拟定名称，并通过搭建实体模型助力其成型；这项以几何模型搭建为核心的“认领多面体（Adopt a Polyhedron）”项目，让用户能够以实操形式主动参与数学实践。
