Supplementary Materials for "Features of Inclusivity Perception in Video Games as a Marker of Political Identity"
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains supplementary materials for the manuscript “Features of Inclusivity Perception in Video Games as a Marker of Political Identity: A Case Study of Discussions on the DTF Platform by Russian Gamers.” The deposit includes the complete inclusivity lexicon used for thematic filtering; Python and SQL code for DTF API collection, database merging, keyword selection, comment cleaning, and RuBERT-based sentiment classification; the semi-structured interview guide; and qualitative coding documentation comprising the analytical codebook, a synthesis table linking categories to empirical evidence, and an anonymised Membership Categorization Analysis coding summary. The original workflow reduced an API-collected corpus of approximately 4.95 million comments to 53,602 game-related comments and then to an analytical sub-corpus of 6,026 inclusivity-related comments. Sentiment classification was used as a screening device to locate discursive hotspots rather than as a direct measure of political identity. Raw DTF comments, platform usernames and identifiers, interview recordings, full transcripts, contact information, and demographic-to-quotation linkage files are not deposited in order to minimise re-identification risk and comply with participant confidentiality commitments. The lexicon and coding materials contain potentially offensive language reproduced strictly for analytical purposes.
