Replication Data for: Mapping Balkan – Southeast European studies (OA edition)

Full edition for public use. In the framework of the RESEE project, bibliographical data of scholarly publication on the Balkan – Southeast European studies have been gathered from multiple database sources (Web of Science, Scopus, Jstor, Portico), using explicit search criteria, careful processing and merging techniques, and well-established analytical tools. Please refer to ReadMe text file (.txt). The interactive file of the bibliographical dataset on Balkan – Southeast European Studies for the time period 1854–2021 is generated and saved as Hypertext Markup Language (.html file extension) using HistCite software. Whereas the interactive map of the thematic clusters in Balkan – Southeast European Studies for the time period 1854–2021 is generated by VOSviewer and saved as JSON file (.json file extension).
