Evacuation drill data and Pathfinder simulation outputs for an existing university building

This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Evacuation performance assessment of an existing university building based on experimental data and numerical simulation.” It contains aggregated data from an institutional evacuation drill involving 299 participants and raw Pathfinder outputs for four evacuation scenarios: reduced occupancy using the existing staircase, full occupancy using the existing staircase, full occupancy using one added stair core, and full occupancy using two added stair cores. The experimental files contain cumulative evacuation counts at 60 s intervals and the initial distribution of occupants by floor. The simulation files contain raw door and room output tables exported from Pathfinder. No individual-level participant data or video recordings are included.
