资源简介:
The project investigates the role of adhesion molecules, specifically Ã7 integrin and L-selectin, in the development of cholangitis within a DDC-induced mouse model, mimicking aspects of primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). The study aims to elucidate how these adhesion molecules influence immune cell migration and liver inflammation by analyzing the infiltration of immune cells, specifically CD8+ T cells, into the liver.Findings indicate that deficiency in these adhesion molecules leads to a significant reduction in liver inflammation and improved liver histology, suggesting potential therapeutic targets for PSC and related cholestatic liver diseases.
