Characterization of Genomic Heterogeneity and Evolution in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma of KPC and KPTC GEMMs

The project aims to provide a comprehensive characterization of intratumoral heterogeneity and tumor evolution in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma of two genetically engineered mouse models of the disease. Whole exome sequencing, targeted deep sequencing, and array comparative genomic hybridization were applied to profile somatic sequence and structural alterations in three distinct regions of each primary tumor and computational modeling was used to infer the degree of intratumoral heterogeneity, and reconstruct the evolutionary history in each case.
