Fagus Sylvatica L.: transcriptomics of dormant buds

Our manuscript presents the intricate mechanisms regulating endodormancy progression in the late successional forest tree Fagus sylvatica L.. Through an integrative assessment of phenology, genome-wide transcriptomics and biochemistry at a high temporal resolution during 2 consecutive dormancy seasons in 2 different locations (Greifswald, Germany 2019-2020; Antwerp, Belgium 2020-2021), we were able to identify the key regulators of endodormancy progression.
