资源简介:
This dataset was constructed using microdata from the Mexican National Occupation and Employment Survey (ENOE) for the period 2012–2019. The database identifies workers initially classified as low-wage and follows matched observations across the first and fifth interviews of the ENOE rotating survey structure to analyze short-term labor mobility trajectories.
The dataset includes constructed variables related to low-wage status, labor mobility outcomes, labor formality, industry classification, demographic characteristics, and regional indicators. Low wages are defined as hourly earnings below two-thirds of the national median real hourly wage.
The database was processed and harmonized for econometric analysis of labor mobility and persistence in low-wage employment in Mexico. The dataset was developed for academic and research purposes in labor economics, inequality, and labor market studies.
