This datafile is an excert from CERES Energy Balanced and Filled (EBAF) TOA and Surface Monthly means data in netCDF Edition 4.1 (10.5067/TERRA-AQUA/CERES/EBAF_L3B.004.1).

Data in CERES_EBAF_Ed4.1_2001-2020.nc are monthly average means from 2001-2020.

This data is used in the manuscript: 

An Extensible Perturbed Parameter Ensemble (PPE) for the Community Atmosphere Model Version 6

Description of CERES_EBAF_Edition4.1: 

CERES_EBAF_Edition4.1 is the Clouds and the Earth's Radiant Energy System (CERES) Energy Balanced and Filled (EBAF) Top-of-Atmosphere (TOA) and surface monthly means data in netCDF format Edition 4.1 data product. Data was collected using the CERES Scanner instruments on both the Terra and Aqua platforms. Data collection for this product is ongoing.
