Melt inclusion host data for the Cleveland volcano

We present data for 12 plagioclase and pyroxene hosts of melt inclusions from Cleveland volcanoes. The samples were collected during a joint GeoPRISMS-DCO-AVO field campaign in 2016 (PIs: Roman, Plank, Hauri). All melt inclusion hosts were found in a volcanic bomb that was crushed. Melt inclusions were doubly polished. Melt inclusion data are presented separately. Here we present data for the hosts. Analyses were generally conducted <10 microns and <50 microns from the nearest edge of the melt inclusion. Anlyses were conducted on a Cameca SX-100 at the American Museum of Natural History. The objective of the work is to improve understanding of the magmatic plumbing system below Cleveland volcano.
