Comparison of the expression profile between PDLIM2-knockdown and control LLC cells.

Lung cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed and deadliest forms of cancer. PDLIM2 has been shown to regulate the stability and activity of different transcription factors, including STATs and NF-kB, and it plays a role in various biological processes such as inflammation and cancer. To understand the role of PDLIM2 in lung cancers, we employed microarray analysis to identify differentially expressed genes, delineating both up-regulated and down-regulated ones in PDLIM2-knockdown LLC cells. Murine LLC-shEmpty and LLC-shPDLIM2 cells were utilized for RNA extraction and subsequent hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays. The objective was to identify genes that were up- and down-regulated in PDLIM2 knockdown cells.
