Enterobacteriaceae bacterium S05 Genome sequencing. Enterobacteriaceae bacterium S05

This study aims to characterize the genomic features of Enterobacteriaceae strain S05, a fouling-causing bacterium isolated from a fouled membrane in a membrane bioreactor treating municipal wastewater. This strain produces soluble microbial products causing membrane fouling and is capable of utilizing various electron accepters for respiration, including anodic electrode. The genomic information of strain S05 should help predict metabolic pathways associated with these unique biological properties of this bacterial strain.
