Annual shipments of photovoltaic (PV) modules in the United States presented a trend of growth despite some fluctuation. Between 2000 and 2016, figures continuously increased from 55,007 peak kilowatts to 13,451,187 peak kilowatts. In 2017 and 2018, PV module shipments fell, decreasing by 5,479,565 peak kilowatts in 2018 compared to 2016. In 2019, the scenario changed, shipments of PV modules in the U.S. reached the peak since 2000, at 16,372,314 peak kilowatts.
