资源简介:
This study aimed to analyze self-reported pain among patients with common malignant tumors in China, identify high-risk groups for cancer-related pain, and provide evidence to inform pain management strategies. A cross-sectional design was employed using data from the Investigation on Nutrition Status and Clinical Outcome of Common Cancers (INSCOC), a nationwide cancer nutrition database. A total of 71739 hospitalized patients with 17 types of confirmed malignancies from 101 tertiary hospitals across China were enrolled between July 2013 and December 2023. The prevalence of self-reported pain of any degree was 33.9%, with 25.9% reporting mild pain and 8.0% reporting moderate to severe pain. Pain was more frequently reported among patients with gastrointestinal malignancies, with the highest rates observed in pancreatic cancer (55.1%), biliary tract cancer (46.9%), and liver cancer (43.7%). Among different age groups, patients aged 70 years and above had the highest pain prevalence (36.5%). Ethnic minority patients reported a higher prevalence of pain (42.3%) compared to Han patients. Pain prevalence decreased significantly with higher educational attainment (PPP
