Texts and AI generated translations described in the presentation 'The New Face in the Scholars Study: AI Output in the Thesaurus Linguae Sericae'

This dataset contains the ai generated translations described in thepresentation /The New Face in the Scholars Study: AI Output in the Thesaurus Linguae Sericae/. The texts that have been used to generate the translation are in the '/texts' folder, while the generated output is in '/ai-output'. Both filesets are in XML following the TEI Guidelines. The tei:seg elements of the output files have a an attribute '@corresp', which corresponds to the tei:seg element with this ID value in the text. The generic prompts used to generate the translation are in the tei:creation element. The translations are as of Dec 12, 2025 in the format generated from the responses of the AI vendors. It is likely that the outputs displayed on the HXWD.org platform will be improved in the future.
