Blue halite records a prolonged space exposure history of the meteorite Sidi El Habib 001

This dataset contains the complete UV–Vis reflectance spectra and Raman spectra of halite grains from the H5 ordinary chondrite Sidi El Habib 001 (SEH 001) used in this study. The UV–Vis dataset includes all analyzed spectra of blue halite collected over the wavelength range of 200–1000 nm. The Raman dataset includes all analyzed spectra of halite grains used to identify lattice vibrations and colloid-related features. These data support the spectroscopic identification of irradiation-induced color centers in SEH 001 halite, including VK-type defects, F, M, R-type centers and sodium-colloid-related features.
