Whole genome sequencing reveals rare off-target mutations in CRISPR/Cas9-edited grapevine plants

We performed large-scale WGS analysis with seven Cas9-edited grapes . The WGS results indicated that a large number of mutations, such as pre-exising/inherent mutations, will be generated during the entire tissue culture of grapes, which is more than those off-target effects caused by CRISPR/Cas9.
