Data from the official administration of the Teacher Assessment of Executive Functioning Scale for Preschool Children

Stratified random sampling was used to identify nine sampling areas based on the administrative divisions of Fujian, China, and to determine the sample size for each area based on the number of kindergarten students counted in the Statistical Yearbook of Fujian Province, China (2022). Five hundred scales were distributed for the formal administration of the test, and after eliminating invalid data, 449 valid scales were finally obtained, including 139 students in the primary class, 134 students in the middle class, and 176 students in the older class, with 224 male students and 225 female students.
