A Cu(Kappa alphy) source was used in a Siemens D500 diffractometer at a scan rate of 0.015°/s, from 8° to 32° (2Theta). \"Opal-CT\" indicates undifferentiated cristobalite and tridymite. \"Zeolites\" indicates undifferentiated zeolite phases, though clinoptilolite and phillipsite are the most common zeolites in marine sediment, and analcime and laumontite are not uncommon. The height and width of the peaks frequently prevent the resolution of specific phases.
