Spatial Dataset for Planning the Use of Recreational Land within an Urban Territorial Community Based on Cadastral Data and Urban Planning Documentation

<p><strong>Abstract and Context:</strong> This dataset supports research focused on spatial planning and land-use optimization within urban territorial communities. Modern urban development requires a balanced approach to environmental protection, the systematic formation of public green spaces, and the improvement of the overall quality of life for the local population.</p> <p><strong>Problem Statement:</strong> Current spatial planning practices frequently reveal structural inconsistencies between official cadastral records, regulatory provisions of urban planning documentation, and the actual on-the-ground use of territories, which complicates the formulation of well-grounded planning and management decisions.</p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong> To substantiate a coordinated approach to planning the use of land designated for recreational purposes within an urban territorial community by harmonizing State Land Cadastre parameters with municipal urban planning documentation.</p> <p><strong>Data Structure:</strong> The dataset integrates multi-source information, including:</p> <ul> <li>State Land Cadastre records (parcel boundaries, designated use codes).</li> <li>Urban planning documentation (regulatory zoning provisions, functional zoning layers).</li> <li>Open geospatial resources of the Lviv urban territorial community.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Methodology:</strong> Employs spatial and cartographic analysis, comparative evaluations between cadastral parameters and urban planning frameworks, and functional generalization of recreational land use outcomes, utilizing empirical data from the Lviv urban territorial community (including case studies in the village of Hriada).</p>
