Generative AI Exposure and the Distribution of Analyst Beliefs: Evidence from China

Replication dataset and code for the manuscript “Generative AI Exposure and the Distribution of Analyst Beliefs: Evidence from China” (APE-2026-2020). The package contains analysis-ready derived data, non-proprietary LLM-exposure scores and mappings, variable-construction code, regression scripts, falsification tests, and figure-generation files. The study uses Chinese A-share analyst forecast data from 2019–2024 and includes 25,001 firm-quarter forecast distributions and a primary analyst-level sample of 27,408 observations. Raw analyst, firm-level financial, and job-posting microdata are not redistributed because they are subject to third-party licensing restrictions.
