Simple download service (Atom) of the dataset: Cantons of Vienna

The canton is a territorial subdivision of the borough. This is the electoral district within which a departmental councillor is elected. The cantons, like the departments, were created by the law of 22 December 1789. In most cases, the cantons comprise several municipalities. But the cantons do not always respect the municipal boundaries: the most populated municipalities belong to several cantons. A township belongs to one and only one arrondissement. Layer different from that of the pseudo-cantons of the Carto BD layer #58 N_CANTON_BDC_ddd) because the latter contains the canton of attachment of the municipalities (finer definition to be provided).
The contours are in accordance with Decree No 2014-264 of 26 February 2014.

县（canton）是自治市镇（borough）的行政区划单元，亦是选举省议会议员（departmental councillor）的选举选区。各县与省（departments）均由1789年12月22日的法律设立。多数情况下，单个县下辖多个市镇（municipalities）；但各县的区划并非始终遵循市镇边界：人口规模最大的市镇会隶属于多个县。单个市镇（township）仅隶属于且仅能隶属于一个区（arrondissement）。本图层与Carto BD图层#58 N_CANTON_BDC_ddd中的伪县（pseudo-cantons）图层存在差异，后者收录了各市镇的归属县信息（更精细的定义待补充）。该图层的轮廓符合2014年2月26日第2014-264号法令的规定。
