In this study, a cold-adapted and efficient nitrogen removal bacterium Pseudomonas sp. NY1was isolated and identified from the soil. By adding different concentrations of cupric ions to investigate the characteristics and mechanisms on strain NY1, with a aim of providing a advanced understand and application of the mechanisms and nitrogen removal under cupric ions-containing wastewater.
