Seychelles had 55.1 commercial bank branches per 100,000 adults in 2019. This was the highest proportion registered in Africa that year. Cabo Verde followed, with 32 branches per 100,000 adults. On the other hand, Chad had the lowest proportion, 0.8 bank branches per 100,000 adults.
