COVID-19 Vaccination Acceptance Dataset

This study developed a manually annotated dataset named "COVID-19 Vaccination Acceptance Dataset", which is specifically designed for analyzing vaccination sentiment in Nigeria's cyberspace. The dataset consists of 4320 tweets, constructed by scraping multilingual tweets associated with relevant hashtags and keywords. The dataset creation process involved screening and annotating 5200 tweets collected between November 1, 2020 and June 30, 2022, with 4320 finally retained. These tweets primarily reflect the attitudes of the Nigerian public towards COVID-19 vaccines, covering positive, negative and neutral sentiments. The dataset is primarily applied in the field of COVID-19 vaccination sentiment analysis, aiming to understand and predict public vaccine acceptance to provide decision-making support for public health policies.
