Rock Springs 100k Bedrock Geologic Map

The bedrock geologic map of the Rock Springs, Wyoming 1:100,000 quadrangle was developed to provide regional scale geologic mapping for city and county planning, industrial and mineral development, and general public use. This dataset is a conversion of previously published map data to conform to GeMS (Geologic Map Schema)--a standard format for the digital publication of geologic maps--and is GeMS Level 3 compliant. The objective of the data conversion is to reproduce the original published mapping with little to no added interpretation.怀俄明州罗克斯普林斯1:100000图幅基岩地质图，编制初衷是为城市与县域规划、工矿开发以及公众通用需求提供区域尺度的地质制图成果。本数据集是对已公开出版的地图数据进行格式转换的产物，以符合地质图数字出版的标准格式GeMS（地质图图式，Geologic Map Schema），且满足GeMS 3级规范要求。本次数据转换的目标是在尽可能少添加或不增加额外解译的前提下，完整还原原始已出版的地质制图成果。
