Please direct correspondence to: Pedro Costa-Pinheiro: pedro.dacostapinheiro@pennmedicine.upenn.edu Kathryn Wellen: wellenk@upenn.edu IMPORTANT UPDATE JULY 21, 2026 This version corrects issues discovered in the transcriptomics code which were inadvertantly introduced during re-formmating efforts for the 3rd submission to Science Advances. These errors led to swapping data from 1mM and 10mM glucose conditions in multiple panels. A mathematical error was also discovered and corrected in the PCA variance calculations. Additionally, gene information was originally accessed from Ensembl BioMart version 115 (released September 2025). A new version (116) was released June 11, 2026. The code now accesses the archived version 115 to prevent potential discrepancies introduced by new BioMart versions.
