This study examined the effects of a phase-shifted photoperiod regime on the maturation and spawning in Pacific bluefin tuna reared in a land-based tank at the age of 3 years. To reveal their spawning characteristics, such as maturity rate, number of eggs produced per female, and spawning intervals, parentage assignment of the eggs was conducted through reduced-representation genome sequencing and genotyping using GRAS-Di method.
