The SPERO dataset was created by the University of Florida, focusing on side-channel attack research targeting the AES encryption algorithm. This dataset contains 131072 sets of simultaneously collected electromagnetic and power tracing data, covering the encryption processes of unmasked and masked AES modules. The creation of this dataset involved real-time data collection using the RASCv3 platform, and it has been uploaded to GitHub for academic use. The SPERO dataset is primarily used to improve the efficiency of side-channel attacks, particularly in dual-channel information utilization, aiming to address the challenges faced by traditional offline settings in real-world scenarios, such as power supply constraints and remote communication requirements.
