Neuroligins In Synapse Development And Function In Drosophila Melanogaster

This thesis uses the Drosophila neuromuscular junction as a model to investigate the function of Neuroligins, which are canonical trans-synaptic cell adhesion molecules genetically linked to a number of neuropsychiatric disorders, including autism spectrum disorder.
