Replication Data for: Estimating the burden of iron deficiency among African children

This dataset contains data for Kenyan cohort that ware used to generate the manuscript “Estimating the hidden burden of iron deficiency in African children”. Variables of main interest include ferritin, hepcidin, stfr, ts (and their respective natural log-transformed variables), hemoglobin, transferrin, iron, ID_ferritin, ID_TS, anaemia, and ida. Other variables used on the analyses include age_months, sex, infla, mal_iron, stunting, wasting and underweight. These variables are labeled in the STATA file. The manuscript includes other data from Uganda, Burkina Faso, South Africa and The Gambia but we do not have rights to share.
