"PGC-1β modulates catabolism and fiber atrophy in the fasting-response of specific skeletal muscle beds", https://doi.org/10.1016/j.molmet.2022.101643, describes the study of the effect of skeletal muscle-specific ablation of the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator 1beta on the fasting response.
